The Highway - L'autostrada

Years ago it was decided to build a highway to connect two large cities. For some reason, the construction took much longer than expected. Every time the work stopped, near the interruption the workers built houses, which became villages, which became cities, which simply became lives and stories. This is the story of a road and of those who live around it.

The Highway is a map-game for 2-4 players. To play you need 2 different-colored six-sided dice (preferably black and white), index cards, pencils and erasers. The game is divided into two phases: during the first one, you will create the two large cities and the individual sections of the road (built at different times); during the second phase, instead, you will add places to the sections of the road, telling the story of how they were born, raised, destroyed or abandoned.

Anni fa si decise di costruire un’autostrada per collegare due grandi città. Per qualche ragione, la costruzione prese più tempo del previsto. Ogni volta che i lavori si fermavano, vicino all’interruzione gli operai costruivano case, che diventarono villaggi, che diventarono città, che semplicemente diventarono vite e storie. Questa è la storia di una strada e di coloro i quali vivono nei suoi paraggi.

L’autostrada è un gioco di mappe per un numero di persone variabile da due a quattro. Per giocare avete bisogno di due dadi a sei facce di due colori diversi (meglio se uno nero e uno bianco), cartoncini, matite e gomme. Il gioco è diviso in due fasi: durante la prima, creerete le due città e le singole sezioni della strada (costruite in periodi diversi); durante la seconda fase, invece, aggiungerete luoghi alle sezioni della strada, narrando la storia di come sono nati, cresciuti, di come sono stati distrutti o abbandonati.
